I'm not comfortable editing my registry to fix the KB942615 issue. Can I
just uninstall it? If so, do I just go into the control panel and uninstall
it from there. Is there going to be a fix for the problem? Thanks

The Windows Installer program (KB942615-Fix.msi) attached to this post:

Or... Freudi's Registry Fix ("E6SP2_Hotfix_KB942367_aktivieren.reg").

Thanks for the help. Actually when I sent the error report, microsoft
supplied a link to the update KB946627. I downloaded it and I think it fixed
my problem. I appreciate your reply.

946627 now has a link to the fix.

And now those who get the crash in IE6/WinXP SP2 pointing to URLMON.DLL are
pointed to 946627, if they agree to send the error info to MS.

Repeat: 946627 is now available at Windows Update (High Priority update) and
is being pushed to (all?) IE6/WinXP SP2 machines via Automatic Updates.
