I have just moved many files from one computer to another, and I would like
to compare the files in the folders and keep the latest copy. Is there an
easy way to do this with windows explorer or other utility?

Thanks!!

I found a utility called dircomp at http://tp.lc.ehu.es/jma/win95.html (DrCmp309 on this page) which I find quite good. I certainly
use it often.

Thanks Trevor! Ill check it out.

Nico's Commander is a super file handler. It shows two panes which can
be directories on different computers (if networked) and will compare
directories. An option is newer files are highlighted. Just click "copy"
to overwrite older files with the highlighted newer ones. It can also
move files as opposed to copy, delete, make new directories, view, edit,
hex edit, compare two files, and so on.

Sure -- use the command line and the REPLACE command with the /u
option.
