is there an option in DHCP client for win2000 pro to change broadcast to unicast

i had consulted MS support for workstations
they said the option is available through the DHCP server
and in workstations in certain NICs that support the
option.
the only article i found in technet was this

do you happen to have more information in order to enable
this option?
