Microsoft passport does not remember my password and the window
prompting me to enter a password constantly pops up.
So I was told about this fix.

http://www.winnetmag.com/Article/ArticleID/39297/39297.html

where It tells me to change the Balloon flag in my registry to
0A 00 00 00

When I perform the fix, it works fine for a week or so, then something
changes the registry flag BACK to
43 00 00 00

I have no idea what application or script may be doing this.

This is turning out to be very frustrating as microsoft windows XP
doesnt seem to allow me to remove passport permanently and end these
annoying bugs.

Is there some way to just uninstall the damn thing?
Thanks

Hi,

Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2. Advanced/Manage
Passwords/Remove.

Tip:

Add Control Userpasswords2 to the Control Panel (Line 1)

You can also check here: Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MessengerService\ListCache\.NET
Messenger Service. In the right pane, Identity Name

Disable Storage of .Net Passwords (Line 223) Right hand side
