is there a way to remeber the last location you opened from?

after upgrading to Office XP, powerpoint no longer
remembers the last directory I retreved a file from to
insert into a slide. is there a way to turn this feature
on, so that every time I insert a picture from some
directory, I don't have to go through the whole directory
structure and pont to the file again?
