Is there a way to put a relative path to an icon?

Is there a way to put a relative path to a program icon (.bmp)? I need to
use a relative path such as:

\\Nas01\dol_exch\Departments\Accounting\Sales Tax\Sales Tax
Database\StanIcon.bmp


I've tried, but no luck...

That's a UNC path; looks fine to me! Maybe something else is causing the
problem?
