Is there a way to protect AutoText entries?

I am creating a document where people must be able to insert various
paragraphs (which I have saved as AutoText entries) describing actions
clients must take based on a review of their services. Each user will need
to be able to customize which AutoText paragraphs are inserted. I would like
the AutoText entries themselves to be protected so users cannot change the
wording in these paragraphs. However, once I protect the text I'd like to
save as an AutoText, it does not give me the option of saving it as AutoText.

Also, within each of these paragraphs, users need to be able to have parts
that aren't protected to add information like date, client name, etc.

I appreciate any help!

What you suggest is not possible. If the users cannot be trusted to use the
tools provided then they shouldn't be working for you.
