Hi

Is there a way of setting restrictions for not allowing users to logon
to multiple machines simultaneously.

We have 1200 users and don’t want them logging into more than one
machine at a time.

Thanks

Lara

There are no out of the box methods to do this.
See CCONNECT from the W2K Server Resource Kit.

Also search these newsgroups, as I have seen others post third party
solutions to this.
Can't think of any at the moment.

Lara,

There are also several posts concerning this in the Active
Directory news
group as well. Essentially you use CConnect.exe from the
Resource Kit,
which requires SQL, or you can use the Home Folder approach.
I think that
Jerold at jsiinc.com has a way on how to do this.

Hi,

Thanks. It was for a friend. I am not sure if he is running SQL or
not. I will let him know.

Cheers,

Lara
