is there a way to prevent history from being cleared

i have employee computers and until i install an application to keep track of
things, i want to know if i can prevent a limited user from hitting "clear
history" in explorer.

Windows XP? Try thr REG file at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Line 101 left side.

If users can browse the HD , they might still be able to clear History items
via Windows Explorer.
