Is there a way to Embed my application into the Windows taskbar like Windows Media does?

Is there a way to Embed my application into the Windows taskbar like Windows
Media does?

On the Task Bar you can right click, then select Toolbars, and have my
Application Name there so when choosen it goes there?

Search Google for "deskband". I hope you're comfortable with COM and/or
ATL.

If that's overkill, you may be able to get away with typing the address of a
local HTML or ASP file (assuming you have IIS running on your machine) to
embed it in a toolbar. I use that as a (much more flexible) replacement for
the Quick Launch toolbar, a calendar, disk space graphs, etc.

You can simply drag a shortcut to that program to the Quick Launch toolbar,
that you are speaking about, and drop it there.
