Hi All;
Thanks for the help I've gotten on this site; it has been invaluable i
man-hours for me.
I've kind of painted myself into a corner. I made a lot of named list
by selecting a list of names and then typing in a name for that list i
the name box. This allows me to have multiple lists that are named, s
I can make a list of those names to be used with a larger list, say, t
be used within a validation cell. The problem comes with a change i
execution from higer-up that wants some of these lists to be combine
into one group. an example: apples is one named list, oranges i
another. Nw we want one list called apples and oranges, and we wan
both lists to be included. Unfortunately, you can't seem to just pic
the name from the name box, select what you want included, and hi
enter and change it. They seem set in stone. Since I don't want
choices available for each mistake I made (apples, oranges, apples an
oranges) Do I need to delete the two obsolete named lists (not sur
exactly how to do that) or is tere a simpler answer to this? There's
ton of work in this ridiculously large database I've made; I'd hate t
have to start again over semantics...
Many thanks,
Scot
