I would like to change the color and size of a sheet tab. Is there a way to
do that in Excel 2000?

Thanks

Colour, only in XP (2002) and beyond (presumably). Size, not AFAIK ; you
could widen by padding with spaces before & after the name, but I wouldn't
recommend it.

The size of the sheet tabs can be changed, but this must be done using
Windows.
And ... using Windows ... means that it's a system wide change, *not just*
in XL.

Right click on your Windows DeskTop, and click <Properties>, <Appearance>
tab, <Advanced> button.
Expand the "Items" box, and click on "ScrollBar".
Increase the number that you find displayed there.
I believe the default is 17.
25 should make a very noticeable change.

*BUT* ... this will change the scroll bars on all your Windows apps.
