I have created a pivot table with custom formulas and formatting. I now need
to recreate the pivot table on a different data set with identical variable
names dimensions.

Is there a way to create a new pivot table on the new data without starting
from scratch and recreating the custom formulas and formatting?

Thanks for any advice!

Make a copy of the pivot table
Right-click a cell in the copy, and choose PivotTable Wizard
Click the Back button, and in the Range box, select the new source
Click Finish

To clear old items from the pivot table, you can use one of the
techniques shown here:

I would copy the pivot table and paste it somewhere else. Then change the
source data range of the pivot table you just copied to wherever your new
data range is. You now have 2 pivot tables exactly the same that work from
different source data.
