Is there a registry setting in XP to extend the timeout default value for a
client to reach the domain controller when a user authenticates?

This is when there's no cached crecentials on the machine.

Thanks,

juan

This would be something to set in group policy....I can't remember exactly
where at the moment, but try posting in m.p.windows.group_policy for more
expert help.

Hi Juan,
There is no much of Info to work with?.
Back up or Write down the settings of these keys before proceeding with the
changes, you may need to reverse back if things didn't go right.
