I have read hundreds of post about the print spool with no actual fixes. The net start spool seems to be only a bandaid. How do you fix the actual problem to get it to start automatically? I have enabled the service and set it to automatic and yes net start spooler works but I should not have to do this everytime I start my computer. This is a brand new machine with no printer ever installed. I have used http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.ht
I know other people feel my pain, but hey we would like the actual answer/fix for this problem

I have done the following and it still will not start automatically
Go to the Control Panel and click on Admin Tools….. then click on Services…
Scroll down until you see the Print Spooler…… double click on the line….. ensure it is set to Automati
Would like an actual fix, net start spooler is only a bandaid

I think we should perhaps not be looking as to why you have to keep
restarting it, but why it keeps stopping!

Is there anything in Control Panel, Admin Tools, Event Viewer that would
indicate an Event ID as to why it is not doing what it should?
