is there a program that can explore corrupted rar files.

i dont think there is but there should be, anyone willing to try.

If I'm understanding your question, there is. Have you ever seen
files in newsgroups with the extensions .par, .p01, .p02? The ones
with the .par extenson are for checking to see if rar (and files that
were split using a utility like hjSplit) files are, corrupt, complete,
etc. The .p01, .p02, .....are for repairing/replacing damaged or
missing parts. Do a search for SmartPar, it should be easy to find.

prompt but i have no idea how you do it.

Ohhh, wow, thanks for explaining. I never realized that, just assumed
it was another new file format that I hadn't used before. Obviously, I
didn't even know to ask about it.

i know about pars,thankyou, but i was wondering if there was a explorer like
program for rars,zips,etc.
