I have a situation where a user has 11 printers in his printer menu. Of
these, 7 are printers advertised by a server, 2 are local printers, and two
are logical print devices created by Office 2003. He has periodic print
slowdown problems, and occasionally Office 2003 and WordPerfect 12 have
weird failures when trying to print.

Given that he is also connecting to 4 external file shares, am I running
into some kind of outbound connection limit? I know about the 10 connections
inbound limit [1], this is about him trying to print to many printers from
many sources.

Thanks.

No, this wouldn't be a "connection limit" issue at all...you might post the
errors he gets, and also take a look at the printers' status in his
printers&faxes window. Event logs might help too.
