Is there an existing Macro for custom animating a
Pendulum motion in Power Point? Using the bottom half of
Circle animation gets the path correct, but the momentum
is all wrong.

Thanks...

Arlen,
This can be done without the need for a macro.

To make the shape pivot across an edge:
1. Create a shape with no file and line with the same dimensions as the
original shape.
2. Align it end to end and group it.
3. Then apply the spin animation with desired angle of swing
(autoreverse/repeat as applicable).

The Shape will spin with the join of the two shapes as the center, giving
the impression that the shape is pivoting across the edge.

It took me a minute to figure it out, but thanks. This
is exactly what I need.

Hello,

Although you can simulate this effect (with a fair amount of work),
wouldn't it be nice if it was easier?

If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly that PowerPoint
should have a specific animation effect (or be able to create a specific
effect by combining others and without having to resort to VBA or add-ins),
don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft
at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
