Is there a list on what has yet to be implented in the .NET base class
libraries?

I see that alot of stuff has to be called via PInvoke, for example Serial
port communications etc...

So what is missing overall and what will be implemeneted in the furture?

I'd suggest you might want to compare the list of Windows APIs with the list
of .NET functions. The total Windows API set is huge.

In that case, the base class libraries have little to be desired regarding
matching current functionality.

I guess they where blinded by this fantasy web services tripe. Whoever sold
them that took theyre money and ran :D

Are you really that great a fool, or are you a troll? Do you think you're
the first person to discover that .NET "has little to be desired?" Isn't it
more likely that everybody else has found out what's desirable about it, but
that you haven't? Or possibly there aren't many people with the same
requirements as you have?

Or are you a troll?
