Is there a Linux program similar to NewsHunter4?

I'm after a Linux program (preferably free) that does a similar job
to NewsHunter4 in searching for free news servers. NewsHunter4 does
it by scanning message headers for the various servers the messages
have travelled through & then testing them. Does anyone know of a
Linux program that does the same thing?

Do a search on freshmeat. There are a number of them.

There are a number of news readers, there are number of programs that will
find articles in different news servers, there are a number of news
servers. There is NO program (and I tried about 10 combinations of search
words) that will search for news servers. If you find one, I'd appreciate
hearing about it.
