I recently installed a new processor without reinstalling the OS and have
run into the following problem. If I enable Hyperthreading in the BIOS my PC
will reboot after about 30 minutes if left idle and almost immediately if
put under stress. If I disable hyperthreading my PC runs fine. Would I have
to reinstall the OS to get it to work properly or is there a way around the
problem?
FYI, temps are good, air flow is good, drivers, Windows updates and BIOS are
bang up to date.
Cheers.
