Is there a Freeware for creating Polls

Hi,
I desperately need a freeware for creating Polls. It is going to be used on
a LAN (with no internet connections), thus voting should be operatable
"offline". Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

For an "offline" LAN, one of the boxes will need to run a server. I'm
partial to php scripts. Check out http://www.hotscripts.com Lots of free
scripts of many flavors. Poll scripts are fairly popular, there are many
to choose from.

You might ask in alt.www.webmaster for a recommendation of a specific
script. Someone here also may have a specific recommendation.
 
You might try PHPnuke (http://phpnuke.org) its free has polls and lots
more besides.

Its basically a web content program, you can have articles, stories and
the like, posted by an Admin, Moderator or Users, depends what
permissions U give.
You can choose what is displayed on the "home" page and this may the the
polls you want to have,
You can have polls all over the place on every story if your so inclined

if its a fairly large network, U can use it to get information out etc.
May be a little overkill though.
