Is there a cut off time on questions???!!

I noticed that the questions stop around noon or 1:00 PM. I usually get to my stuff after then. So when I post a question it never appears. What am I missing? This just seems to be in the last week or so.

No, there's no cutoff time. There have occasionally been problems with
the news servers where messages don't appear until later, or never
appear at all, but those are glitches, not policy. I see you're using
the web interface to post to these groups, rather than a newsreader
program, and I don't know if there have been any problems specific to
the web site. I don't see any messages from you in this group since
April 7th, aside from this one, so maybe there is some sort of problem.
But there are lots of other messages in the group for that period, many
posted after 1:00 PM Eastern time.

Nope, Dirk works 24 Hrs/7 days a week around here.

If you use the web interface to read/post messages there are occasionally times (as Yoda pointed
out) where there appear to be big "gaps" in the messages. I've seen this personally.
If your message does not appear within a day you might try posting again.
