Why so many stars for so few four-leaf clovers?

I've under my eyes a very old computer from Elonex (PT-5133/I) the BIOS of
which I would like to upgrade.

However I can't retreive any information about the mother board.

This board has :

4 ISA buses
4 PCI buses
4 Memory bank (4 x 64 MB EDO)

I think that it does not support AGP (there is slot AGP-like but it is
missplaced to put any card there).

Intel PCIset # SU093

One componant is Winbond W83877F

Beside the BIOS is a componant which seems to be the battery : ODIN
OEC12C887A

On the mother board is wrote PCI P54C-TR4. Nothing else than can show me the
way.

At startup, Bios is from Award.

First two lines are :

Bios Award V4.51 PG Energy Star Ally
WH76 091196

Bottom line is :

09/09/96-i430HX-2A59FM4AC-00

Some idea or some pointer to provide ?

Thanks

Mr Bios supports that board as far as bios upgrade is considered.
Try searching the bios string 09/09/96-i430HX-2A59FM4AC-00 at www.mrbios.com
and also do a search for PCI-P54C-TR4 on google.com, although you'll wind up
at mr bios I think.
It IS an Elonex board, and their web site is active.
www.elonex.com, although I didn't see anything for older boards on the
site. You'll probably have to go through "support", but Mr Bios is the place
to go to check.

Thank you so much for your tips and pointers.

I sent by mistake, I must say, the same mail on an Italian NG.

A pal, speaking English, gave me the solution :

Microstar MS-5128
link per il nuovo bios
http://www.msi-computer.de/download/bios/51xx/wh79.exe

It worked find and gave me the possibility to replace a Pentium-S 133 Mhz
with a Pentium-MMX 233 Mhz instead.

Cheers.
