I have the latest drivers from the nVidia website and two GeForce 6800GTs,
but I can't seem to enable SLI in Vista. Its not that Vista won't let me, its
just that I can't actually find the checkbox anywhere. Help? Thanks!

I think you need to use the classing control panel to see the nvidia applets
if i'm not mistaken.

I don't have SLI though..

I have the same graka's and I have to disable SLI in the BIOS to be able to
boot into Windows Vista Beta 2

I have a Asus A8N32-SLI board and 2 7900GT's i dont have to turn off SLI to
boot, but the nVidia applet does not have the SLI enable feature as it does
in XP

Same Issue with MSI K8N Diamond Plus and 2 7900GTX's. Enabled SLI in the
bios, but their is not an enable feature as described by Nvidia in the 3D
settings. System boots fine, but I believe that Vista is only utilizing one
of the GPU's. I get the same performance results in the Vista Performance
Test, and the same frame rates in Fear, with one or both cards installed.
Guess that's why they call them "Beta they don't work yet"!

Exactly the same problem, with the same cards as yours. I call BFG's guys at
least five times, and every time I got a different advise; none of them work.
Simply, there is no an SLI enabling option in the nVidia control panel. How
did you enabled SLI in BIOS? I have a ASUS A8N32SLI Deluxe MB.
Thank you.

Some mother boards allow you to turn it on and off in bios, mine boots with
card enabled, but the second card will not work it tells me low in resources.
Nvidia doesn’t seem to have a control applet in there Bata drivers. Any ideas

I would not be surprised if it was awhile for Nvidia to have an SLI driver.
The current one is to get Vista up and runnign for tech professionals, their
current install does not even have their basic monitor controls. I expect a
later beta driver to add those, and SLI probably pretty close to ship.

YEA i just spotted somthing about a driver in development 90.xx i hope it is
rel soon need my bf2 fix thanks

my boot times are slow with the 7900GTX and I don't have nay NVidia applet in
the control panel of Vista or a service I could disable to allow for booting.
The computer boots (takes longer than it should) tried to install the actual
drivers as Vista loaded something for me but the actual ones would not insall
at all :(
Disabling in BIOS is this best left if you can boot as XP is on my other
drive which boot happily with my card.
I bought my computer specifically for Vista and the card was listed but
Vista reports it as a boot issue :( it scores well in the ratings just slows
down boot times.
