When I use Remote Desktop I can "see" what is going on at the other computer
using a Logitech QuickCam Orbit; but can not hear what is going on. Is it
possible to turn on the sound so I can hear at the other computer?
Thanks

I have personally found that this depends on so many factors that usually
the answer is a definite "maybe". In your remote desktop session, you can
specify to bring the sound to the local computer - but audio can suck down
that bandwidth pretty fast.

I have done this. In the remote window I have gone to options/local
resources, and under "remote computer sound" I have chosen Bring To This
Computer. If I want to listen to the remote computer Windows Player that
is no problem.
I can do just about everything I can imagine on the remote machine, except
hear sound through the remote microphone.
Can anyone help??

Sound input from the microphone is not being sent to that PC's speakers.
You only hear the sound that is output th the PC's speakers over your Remote
Desktop Connection.

If you want live video and sound, set up a video link with (for instance)
Messenger, which will do a better job than RDC anyway.

Do the Bring Sound to Remote Computer option and make sure you start a
program that captures the audio card (i.e., media player) before you
start your remote desktop session.
