I am having a problem with my computer. Whenever i open "Control Panel", "My Computer", "My Pictures", etc, an error box entitled "explorer" pops up and says, " is not a valid date. I click OK, and the box disappears, and the program runs no problems at all. The same error box appears when i go into "internet explorer", except the box is entitled "iexplorer", with the same text from before. This error message in no way affects how the programs run, it is more of a nuissance than anything. This just recently happened after removing some spyware from my computer...I don't know if this has any correlation to it however...thanks for the help

Hei NettB.

Your problem is caused by a trojan on your computer.
The person who wrote the trojan used a time limiteted version of
Delphi, and that version is no longer valid.

The solution is to goto "add/remove programs" from your controlpanel,
and
remove CPR.

I found out by using a great tool by Nir Sofer.
http://riedersoft.ath.cx:85/~users/nirsoft/utils/strun.html
Neither my antivirus or pestpatrol detected it.
But this great tool allows you to view and disable programs that are
loaded during startup of your computer.

happy hunting.
