Not sure if it does, but there will be a Norton release soon just before the
release of Vista :o)

Zack, installing Avast 4.6 Home Edition on Windows Vista Build 5308, causes
Major Problems (even if you turn off Web Shield, it causes my Build 5308
Installation to become Completely Unstable, turning it into Soup, in my
opinion, that is)!

P.S. It is also exactly one of the reasons why I wish Microsoft would give
us MSDN Tester's Build 5342!

P.P.S. You got to wonder what Microsoft was thinking: Not only do us (Non
Corporate Build 5308 MSDN Tester's) not have a workable Anti-Virus Solution,
but we are also Vulnerable to the Critical IE 7 Security Vulnerability (an
article was recently posted on Neowin.net that the number of Un-Trusted Web
Servers that are taking advantage of this Security Vulnerability is growing
rapidly)! You would think that if Microsoft was so concerned about the
Computer Security of Windows Vista, that they would be concerned about our
(MSDN Tester's) Computer Security as well, and give us (MSDN Tester's) Build
5342!

*PLEASE* can you consider "Send Message Later" in the File menu... you're
essentially spamming the newsgroups with all your posts.

And no, Avast 4.6 Home Edition on Windows Vista Build 5308 works
fantastically on mine, but with the Web Shield on, I can't resolve DNS
entries... I could browse the web, but I don't particularly want to enter in
IP addresses... so it stays orange on the article for now.

He is a M*** and I will stand by it. Beating a dead horse on these Beta's. The sooner he realizes what a Beta stands for and the vulnerabilities of it with a production machine or even on a test machine the sooner he will realize that what his is saying is for nothing.

He said he resigned from the Beta program to pay a fee to join the MSDN OS subscription. Why would anybody do that just for acquiring Vista

Ahh, touché :o)

It all says "and greater" or "and higher"... it'll be misleading to think it
won't work on Vista :o)
