Is my Sempron 3000+ up to speed?

I would like to get the most out of my Sempron 3000+ (running at 1.8g).
My gigabyte mobo supports 64 bit and a 1600 fsb.

SiSoftware Sandra, shows my Chipset #1 FSB is 1x201 Mhz (201 data
rate) and my Chipset #2 FSB is 2x804 (1608Mhz) and my Memory Bus is
2x201Mhz.

I don't understand the two Chipsets and why their numbers are so
different. Do these numbers look like I'm getting the most out of my
Sempron 3000+? Any suggestions?

I don't understand why they say that either, but what you want to do is
raise the FSB to 233, lower #2 FSB (HT link I hope) to 600, and then
lower the base ram bus speed to 166MHz. The cpu should then run at 9x233.
If you have a newer board, you can get more than that, but without knowing
the board model you have this should work with any. With the proper board,
it's possible to get 9x300 (2.7GHz) more/less.

My board is (Gigabyte) K8 Triton (GA-K8U) ULi M1689 chipset. And I'm
not sure how to make the adjustments you suggest. I'll look at my
startup BIOS and see if these FSB are adjustable.. or is there another
way to make these adjustments?

Looking at the manual for that noard and it won't allow much. Look at CPU
Clock on page 40. Max is 232MHz according to the manual I dl'd. Doesn't
look like there's any settings for the HT link, so you will be lucky to
even get it to run at 232MHz via the bios. If you are using windows have a
look at the Easytoon software. There's some overclocking options in it,
but the manual doesn't go into it in detail.

I see EasyTune 4 came with the board (I thought it was a music until).
I take a look at it later today.. Thanks.
