Is my browser hijacked?

When I go to tinypic.com I see an IP address logged that's not my own.
It belongs to PSInet.com. Whatismyip.com however, accurately reflects my
IP address.

Try the following and see if it helps. Even if you have already run some
programs, run them again according to the instructions in the information
below to thoroughly clean you system. Some variants of malware can
replicate itself and return repeatedly if not cleaned properly. It is best
to read through all the information before you start to know before hand
what you need to do and how. Follow all instructions to letter as much as
possible.

Wow! And I thought a good AV program like Avast, along with Spybot, Ad-
Aware and Spy Sweeper was enough! I find that Spy Sweeper is very memory
intensive and slows down the computer when in resident memory.

Unfortunately, there are many kinds of parasites, spyware, adware, malware,
viruses, Trojans, worms, etc. out there, and some of them are really nasty,
and can replicate themselves over and over unless properly removed. Thus,
they take a different kind of program or method to get rid of them. Some of
the removal or scan programs can be very intensive, intrusive and even
controlling, and expensive in the long run. Actually, the best programs for
the jobs are free, and are light weight and non-intrusive on your system.
They are the ones most experts recommend as well.
