MSAS Fan
just wondering if it's going to be free, because I've
read this article about the new Microsoft PC Health
Service in this site
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1815467,00.asp
here's why im having a second opinion about MSAS not
being free and we have to pay subcription in order to use
it. below is the explanations.
A new Microsoft PC Health service
"Microsoft today announced plans for Windows OneCare, a
new subscription-based service that will proactively keep
consumer PCs healthy. It will automate maintenance tasks,
offer full security protection, and handle backing up
essential files. As much as possible, the service will
run in the background, out of sight. When necessary, the
user will configure and review all of its functions in
one place."
"Microsoft has released an early beta version of the
service to its employees this week, and a public beta is
planned for later this year. The current internal beta
includes antivirus and firewall security, automated
backup, and PC maintenance tools. Other features,
including antispyware, will be added during the beta
period. The final subscription price for the service has
not yet been determined."

MSAS should be free as we all have taken the risk to use
this beta version and have taken the time to post
bugs/issue on the Microsoft Antispyware Newsgroups.
