Went out at 0600 this morning to go to the gym & to Gatwick.
Lots of snow & deep in places, even saw a snow-plough out on the M23.
Still snowing now but much lighter.
It's bright and sunny here at the moment too, quite a few clouds drifting about, probably pretty cold, but I've not been outside to "test" the temperature yet, having been a bit late to get up
Lots of snow here with an inch settling and still snowing quite hard...Sky tv man came to put new installation in and I had to help him with his ladders, really cold here though..
Here in Bath it snow-stormed for about two hoursfrom 9pm, my car which was parked at work looked like the one in Ady's pic.
Clearing it took half an hour!
I'm told Bath doesn't get much snow because of the warm streams of water from the tropics, but it seems this lot blew across from the East earlier today.
A bloke came in to my work today who reckons there'll be 6 inches on the hills by tomorrow morning. The Uni (which I live in) is on one of the hills. I'm doubtful.
By the look of the grass here it looks like some good snowball fights were had.
I've had to shrink the pics so you loose some of the impact .
The Plough at Lupton on the kirby lonsdale to Kendal road Sunday 6.00pm .
Taken from me car window at the side of the road with me 3MP Cannon with a widescreen lens .
Reason I took these is this is the first glimpse of the lakes , blink and you miss it at 60 mph , weather permiting I get on me way back home . Also on a day like these were taken I think its dead impressive as those mountains are nearly 30 miles away . You miss some of the impact as I have had to shrink the pics .
