Is it possible in XP to remove the top level/cell of an organisational chart
(in 2K i can just delete it)

Near as I can tell, you can not cut off the boss's head .. err. the head
.... the top-most box. But you do not have to show it either.

By changing the box to no fill, no line and not text, then positioning the
box on top of the line it will effectively hide it. Of course, you can also
just place a box with a background fill on top of the organization chart.

I guess the boss's didn't like this feature in the earlier versions of
PowerPoint. :)

If this is something you want, let MS know.

thanx - i think i'll just cover him up :o)

just incase you're wondering why on earth i should want to - it's from a
practise paper which asks students to create 4 boxes at top level (4
bosses) - i 1st showed them how to delete the top box (which didn't work), i
then showed them how to add 3 co-workers to the top box, but these appear
below the top box - i eventually showed them how to manipulated these along
side - but this is way out side the syllabus, so i was looking for an easy
fix - thanx for providing it
