Hiya,

I can send web links references for pictures in my E-Mails using my
photobucket account, but as yet have not been able to send pictures
direct in E-Mails other than as attachments or as a web link.

Anyone know if this is possible, and if so how.

Yes, it's possible but considering the level
of security most folks use today, it's questionable
as to whether or not they could view the image
directly from the e-mail message.

The best, safest method these days...IMHO is
to upload the files to a site like the one you
mentioned and send the link to your recipients.

Anyway...here's how you do it if you are using
Outlook Express.

Open a New Message and go to...
Format / Rich Text (HTML)...

You will see a tool bar appear across the center
of the message.

Clicking within the body of the message will make
the toolbar live.

Click the "Insert Picture" icon and browse to the
image you wish to embed in the message.

Thanks, that worked for me but how do you do to put a few images (3) in
small size on the same e-mail?

Hi and thank you. Ok now that i can do that, can we put several (3) small images on the same e-mail body rather than by joined file...

Resize the images first and then insert the new smaller files in your e-mail
message.

To decrease the size of the file for e-mail, web publishing, etc.

Go to this site and download the free Image Resizer. Exe file in one of your
folder.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

Once in your folder, double click on it to install it.

Once installed, you right click on a photo file (or on a group of selected
photo files).

Click on Resize image on the opening menu.

A window will open, select the size you want.

New files will be added in your folder, same name as original file but with
the word (small) or (custom) added.

The first time you use it, you may not see Resize image on the opening menu
after you right click on a photo file or if you see it and click on it, it
may not work. If so, do the following:

Click on Run, click on Start and type the following in the textbox:

REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL

and press the Enter key.

Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI.

You should get a "success" message after pressing the Enter key.
