is it possible to move large numbers of photos from FAT32 to NTFS?

D.

I am trying to consolidate and organize my photo's, over 10,000 of
them, but when I search for those by file extension, from xp, [ntfs]
on a slave drive that is FAT32, I cannot move them to a folder on xp.
Anyone know why? I can move small numbers however.

Thanks, D.

I'm thinking resource problems...that's a lot of files.
I'm just guessing...but maybe you could do it in safe
mode.

Hi John, yes, I'm thinking the same thing. Even with a gig of memory
and 2 gigs of processing power. I'll look into your suggestion!
Thanks!
