Is the question clear ?

I always manipulate te folders and files in "My Documents" in File Explorer
instead of drilling down from the Start Button. I right click
on "my documents" and click "Open"

Is it possible to set the properties on Start/Documents/My Documents
(three clicks) to automatically open My Documents ?

A small thing but it's become an annoyance.

Thanks

If I understand your question correctly, why not just
create a shortcut to the folder you want and place it on
the desktop, start menu or taskbar quick launch area?

I'm assuming you're using the Classic Start Menu. Right click the Start
button, select Properties, Customize and uncheck Expand My Documents. For
the new Start menu, there is a similar option, Show as Link.

Why not do this?

Locate the folder that holds the files you want to
access...
Right click,
And then go down the menu to "Send To"
and in it's sub-menu select "Send to Desktop as Shortcut"

This puts a shortcut, of the folder you want to access,
on your desktop.

Then, to open the folder, you can use whichever of the
three methods below that you favor:

1) Double Click
--or--
2.) Right Click,
and select 'Explore'
--or--
3.) Right Click,
and select 'Open'

Obviously you can do this with ANY folder, where ever it
may be located, and eliminate the 'drill down' through
multiple nested folders.

You could group such folders in a specific area on your
desktop, --or-- put them all in one 'holding' folder for
less clutter on the desktop.

When you save, you're saving into the original location,
where ever it may be.
