Is it possible to lock a presentation?

I need to lock a presentation so that changes cannot be made. I'm
running Office X on Mac OS 10.3. Besides making a movie, (which
results in a super large file (over 7 GB for my presentation) and doesn't
run properly, are there any other choices?) are there any other choices?

You might get better assistance by posting your question in the PowerPoint
Mac group. This group relates more to Windows based PC's, so not many of us
speak Mac-ese.
