Is it possible to find the most common occurance/frequency of a field entry

I want to use this as default from a County field - the database will be
used in different areas of the country so each will have a different result

You can try the following SQL where you have a table named tbl_Counties with a field in the table called "County"


SELECT top 1 Count(County) AS CountOfCounty, County
FROM tbl_Counties
GROUP BY County
ORDER BY Count(County) DESC;
