is it possible to degrade xp to 2000pro

i am have continuing problems with xp home on my machine
with the hardware (video card and burner is acting up)
account to the logo crap... so if it is possible to
degrade windows xp home to 2000 pro without any
difficulties, that would be great. if anyone knows
anything on this problem of mine please reply,
