Note to moderator: I am more than willing to provide proof of
ownership and licensure to substantiate this request. If this kind
of request is not allowed, please forgive me. I am truly in dire
straits and desperate.

I have 10 user license and a valid key code for Windows 2000 Server
Standard. Unfortunately the CD is not readable and therefore I can
not install. We experienced a power surge earlier this week when an
electric company transformer blew. I am having to rebuild the entire server
and
reinstall Windows 2000 Server Standard Edition. What I need is to
borrow an install disk long enough to load the software on my
system. I do not need the key code as I have one already registered
with Microsoft.

I have ordered a replacement disk but I can't really afford to wait until
the middle of next week for it to arrive. I have a friend who is a developer
and he said even if I could d/l an image we could get my system up and going.

The licence you purchased in in the product key you received,
not in the CD. Find a friend or a colleague who has his own
copy, then make a copy for yourself. AFAIK there are no
sites from which you can download the product.

Thanx Pegasus!

I am going through my list of friends already. I might have a lead on one.
I thought I had burned a Back-up copy, but after moving offices three times I
am unable to put my hands on it. :-( Anywell thanx for the reply. I didn't
think it was possible but you never know if you don't ask. Besides, as I
stated, I am desperate. :-)
