Hello... Question?
Is it possible to start a presentation from my main desktop menu?
Without going into powerpoint itself... maybe I should re-phrase
that..
I would like to click on an icon on my desktop to show a
presentation. I don't want to actually go into the powerepoint program
to run a presentation... I'm not lazy or anything like that... just
exploring my options for an easier setup.
currently I'm having to go into powerpoint program and open the ppt
file and then run the slide show... then click to end show and have
to go back into program and click on next presentation i want to
run... Im looking for the ability to go to my desktop and choose and
pick which presentation I want to run next or start off with...

TIA!

Easy as pie! Save your presentation to the Desktop as a "PowerPoint Show
(*.PPS)" or just rename your existing .PPT file, giving it a .PPS file
extension. The "S" tells Windows to pass instructions to PowerPoint to open the
file directly in "Show" mode. That is the only thing different from the same
file saved as .PPT. If you later need to change the presentation, just open
PowerPoint and then open the .PPS file, edit it, and save it again.
