Is it possible create a VPN connection between 2 computers running win2k
with only dial-up connections? One is a win2k server, and the other is win2k
pro.

If it is possible, I would appreciate some detailed instructions. Help in
win2k is a bit hard to follow on this area.

Thanks in advance

Tough thing. I would try it this way (not sure if it works
though):
how to setup the server:
1.go to www.dyndns.org and create an account. Lets say you
choose CWSERVER for your account. Thus, the DNS of your
Server will be CWSERVER.DYNDNS.ORG . Then, you can
download from dyndns.org free tool to update automatically
your record in their DNS servers. You need to install it,
because when you dial your ISP, you'll probably get every
time different IP.
2. Goto "Network and dialup connections" -> "Make new" ->
-> "accept incoming conncetions" -> choose your dialup
adapter -> on next screen make sure you select "allow
virutal connections".
3. Dial your ISP and wait for incoming connections

How to setup win2k pro:
1.create dialup to your ISP on your Win2kPro.
2.Then create "connect to private net..". on the second
page make sure you choose "automatically dial this
connection". On the third page type the dns address for
your Win2kServer ( CWSERVER.DYNDNS.ORG in our example ).
3. Just dial you vpn connection on Win2kPro.
That should basicly do it.
Let me know if you succeed.
Good Luck
