Is it possible to boot a pc with thumb drive and xp embedded

I am pretty much new to windows embedded, but this is my goal: I would like
to load a thumb drive with a bootable image of windows xp embedded. If this
is possilbe, how must I set the ARC path, eg
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1) in this case or any other tips.

Not sure if this is only possible with handheld devices

Again, this topic is very well documented in the latest (FP2007) release of the product.
The feature you are looking for is called USB [2.0] Boot. Here is the steps you should follow:

Thank very much. This is the info that I needed.

I already downloaded XPe SP2 FP2007 so I am ready to try the steps outlined
