Is it possible to add only audio from a video clip?

I recently video taped an interview of a person that founded a non profit
organization. I was hoping that MM would allow me to cut away and show
various other video clips during the interview. Essentially, the audio track
during the interview would remain unchanged but I want to show other video
clips.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Yes, just drag the audio down to the music track, then drag on your new
clips to the movie track, and mute them as needed.
 
Everyone is a newbie at one time or another. Just add your newly found
knowledge to your memory and continue to do so. Then suddenly you're not a
newbie anymore!!!
