Is it possible for DUN to share a modem across the network?

I have an analog modem attached to COM1 of a PC running XPPro. Another PC
in my home LAN is running Win2000.

Is it possible for the Win2000 to use the modem attached to another PC on
the network to initiate Dial-up Networking (PPP) connections?

Yes. Enable Internet Connection Sharing on the XPPro computer's
dial-up connection. Configure Win2000 as an Internet Connection
Sharing client. Details here:
