is it posible that windows explorer uses 90% of my cpu? I have a pentium 4
3.2ghz, 2 giga ram. I have an extern hard disk and when i try to move
something on it I must wait too much. with XP the moving was working soo
fast!

I do not think so. In most cases you will find that some program (Processes
is still running) one that I know of is movie collector

Well, I don't have a PC running 5600 anymore... but I'm not seeing Windows
Explorer using 90% CPU here... It just spiked to 55% when I opened it but
dropped back down to 0% almost immediately. Drilling down into
drives/directories might spike to 25% but drops down to 0% immediately.

Hmm... not sure if you're talking about Windows Explorer (your original
post) or Internet Explorer (your last post)...

Either way, IE is not eating CPU here either. Maybe someone running 5600
will respond...

It's Windows Explorer! Even when I close the windows that i'm using Windows
explorer it's still running and The task manager tells me that it's using 90%
of my CPU!!!
About Internet explorer.. I had to download and use Mozilla because I.E 7
it's working too slow!!
And is there any other version of Vista? A new one? Build 5600 is too old?!

Well, yes... there are newer beta builds that were available to the public
from MS... 5728 and 5744. If you want to get them now, I think you'd have to
get them from a torrent, but I know nothing of that process. Sorry.
