Preparing for Disaster Recovery
To perform a complete disaster recovery you need a recent backup of your
entire system, including the system state data, the system files, and your
data files. The system state data includes the registry, the Component
Services class registration database, and the system files required to start
your computer (also known as the boot files).
Performing Disaster Recovery
To start the disaster recovery process, install a new version of Windows 2000
and run Backup to restore (recover) your system and data files.
