Is IE7 Cookie Management the Same?

I can't find a support group for IE7 so I'm posting here.

I have a rather elaborate system for managing IE cookies. I don't
want to have redo all that. Is the IE7 cookie management method the
same as IE6? Things like the format of the cookies, where and how
they're stored, etc.
