Is ICS really working?

I read lot good things about IC either from Microsoft or
Magazines. I could not get it work. Client pc shows
only "Page cannot be displayed". I guess this is what
supposed to display or should it really connect to the
internet through Host PC. I may have reconfigured and
restated PC almost 20 times. I do not have any
applications installed other than WIN XP and Norton AV.
Could someone help me.

The client pc should be able to connect to the Internet through the
host.
