Plenty has been written about Mesh Computers and what bad service they provided, but what about those customers who are happy with Mesh. Would be interesting to see how many there are out there?

Funny this, you only ever heard bad press about vendors...never praise!

I'm sure there are many (not necesseraily sp? on this forum) folks are happy with a Mesh.

My opinion? - Never had one, never used one so it would be unfair to comment.

I did have some proplems when I first bought the machine, but once I got thru' to the technical people they got it all sorted, kept to promises, even refunded charges I had incurred.

I agree that there is plenty of bad press out there about MESH, but personally I would go back to them. Admittedly, I would only deal with my existing contacts, so I don't trust the overall setup. :p

And before anyone asks, I don't, never have, and never will work for MESH, nor do any of my relatives (that I know of ...):D

yes but it is inevitable that some computers will go wrong and some won't. The mark of a good company is one that cares about their customers' needs, and does everything they can to put it right.
and that needs to apply to EVERY customer.

Wow CI - that means there may actually be more than one happy customer out there

Maybe, just maybe!

I think the key point from me is that it was the techies that really helped, the so called "Customer Services" staff were worse than useless! They were rude, misleading, and downright arrogant on times.

I don't think the support guys are supposed to deal directly with the public, but they certainly saved me from wanting to jump on a plane and pay them a personal visit !;)

I think this is where the problem lays - any PC can end up having a problem , but what you want is good customer service when it does - and this is where Mesh falls down badly.

If they sorted out their customer service, they might become a great company to buy from - but with the market being so cut-throat, they probably can't afford it

Sadly these days it seems to be in the industry, you sell the pc, and then if problems arise you do something about it. I know for a fact that there have been major problems with Windows XP & some Software which Mesh ship with some PC’s, not because Mesh told me, but because Microsoft did.

It’s been an on-going problem for a while, Microsoft told me that manufacturers know the problems, but instead of rectifying it they let the customer down with mismatched software.

Moving from Microsoft

With all this hassle with Microsoft seriously thinking of switching to Linux, all ready use OpenOffice, which is better than MS Office for 95% of the work i do!

Had problems with Mesh, all fixed, PC now runs fine.

But doubt i would buy from them again though.

i've had a mesh pc for...oh coming up 3 years now and its done me fine :)
no major problems with it and upgrading was a doddle.

Is any one happy with Mesh

Well they may be but Im one of those who had a bad experience and its impossible to explain on any forum ( but Im trying) how bad they are... I would run out of asterisks.

When the chips are down Mesh really come up ******

You've set me going now...

eg a support call to mesh can last last 90 mins and every 15 mins they transfer you to someone else who only answers after 10 mins , its so regular , I timed it one day, I could predict within a minute how long they would waffle on and within seconds how long it would take the next adviser to answer, I almost supected it was deliberate at one point ,..

do you think they could be making money from their premium rate number????

I don't think there's any doubt - I always find it strange when you've paid for a warranty that you then have to pay again to get help

I wonder if its possible in those cases where you are excercising you rights under the Sale of Goods Act etc, to then claim those call costs back - if necessary via the small claims court?

Personally I wouldn't buy a PC from anyone who doesn't supply a normal local or free number.

I have a Mesh Pc and to be honest, i havent any major hiccups with it and its served me a good 2 years. But i have heard so much bad things about mesh now, so if i do get round to buying a new pc, i wont consider getting a mesh one.

It's best to try to keep everything in one thread that everyone goes to & knows:D

Ady webb Reclaiming Support Call Costs

I am going to continue to claim mine from Mesh but Im not sure a court claim would help in this situation?
